Where’s The Nearest Day Spa? Renewing the Anxious Heart is written by Emily Smith.

I really enjoyed this book! The chapters were short and easy to read. I enjoyed the sense of humor the author displayed in her writing. Her advice and simple steps are live changing.

We all worry about something everyday and we can all agree that it is mostly women that do the worrying. The Bible addresses the subject of worry so you know it is an important subject that touches many lives. The author admits that she worries and with that you feel a sense of comradeship.

This is a very comforting book. The author shows you why worrying is wrong and then points you to the Lord as the solution. My favorite part of the book is when the author talks about how to drop everything and hold onto Him! What a great life principle to latch onto. I gave this book 5/5 stars and would recommend every woman read it!

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

The Guest Book is written by Marybeth Whalen.

The concept of this book is interesting. Communicating with another person by simply drawing a picture in a book. This takes place at a beach house where a girl and a boy draw the pictures. They draw in the guest book at the house. There are some twists and turns along their journey and that is what makes the story interesting.

The main character, Macy, is complex and the author does well at making her intriguing. The other stories that make up the book also entice you to keep reading. I thought the author wrote the story well and concluded it successfully.

The main characters’ relationship really does not develop right away but it makes you keep reading to see what will happen to bring them together. I gave this book 4/5 stars because I thought it was a little choppy in the story telling department so the book did not flow well.

Stress Less and Enjoy Each Day is written by David Zerfoss

This book was very simple and easy to read. It is one man’s view on ways to de-stress you daily schedule. You will learn easy ways to enjoy your day.

I thought the book was well written. I really enjoyed the quotes that are dispersed throughout the book. I found that they highlighted the principle the author was discussing. I also found most of them to be catchy in some way making them easy to remember.

The author comes across as a very nice and intelligent man with a great sense of humor. I found the book to be non-judgmental and really just a great resource for those days when we all have too much to do. I liked how the author used Biblical principles to help with the mundane daily issues we all deal with. Learning how to look to the Lord as your planner and listening to His leading as you schedule your days is the best principle taken from this book.

I gave this book 5/5 stars. I enjoyed every page, learned from it and think it would make a great gift for a stressed out friend!
